Discord and Reddit have become the new home for leaked OnlyFans content. A recent leak of a celebrity’s exclusive content on Discord made headlines this week, but it was not the first time such an event has occurred and it’s probably not going to be the last.
As of today, we found over 100 subreddits dedicated to sharing OnlyFans leaks of various celebrities and influencers. And that’s not including the amount of dedicated underground Discord servers that are also hosting leaked content.
In this article, we take a look at the current state of what’s going on and whether or not there’s anything that can be done about it.
Leaked OnlyFans On Reddit
Reddit has always been a notorious platform for illegal/leaked content. The way that Reddit works with the ability to create an anonymous account and then host a subreddit, it’s not surprising that communities have being built around OnlyFans leaks.
Even though Reddit doesn’t allow leaked content on it’s platform, as per their terms of service, it’s been unable to prevent the creation of subreddits dedicated to sharing the content of OnlyFans creators. That’s because as fast as one OnlyFans subreddit is taken down by Reddit a new one appears, and a quick Google search will find that there are dozens of new subreddits being created everyday.
OnlyFans Leaks On Discord
The OnlyFans leaks community has also moved to Discord, an online chat platform, and while the platform doesn’t allow the sharing of leaked content and does eventually take down the servers if it finds them — they’ve been unable to prevent it.
We have been monitoring Discord for weeks and have found over 50 dedicated leaked OnlyFans Discord servers with exclusive photos & videos from almost all high profile female OnlyFans creators. That being said, this is just the tip of iceberg since we are certain there are dozens more channels operating on Discord at the moment; including black market Discords that sell access the leaked content.
Can OnlyFans Leaks Be Stopped?
Unfortunately, no.
Even though OnlyFans.com tries to prevent the leaking of creator content by blacking out the screen whenever anyone tries to take a screenshot on a mobile device. Users easily still find ways to download the exclusive content.
Much like the adult entertainment industry, and really any large media product or service, trying to control high value media content is a nearly impossible task. It’s simply to easy for individuals to pay for that content, download it and then reupload it on the internet for others users to see who aren’t willing to pay for that content.
Regardless of how many servers or subreddits are shutdown, one will always pop up with the same content available in due time; as there is just to many people searching for these OnlyFans hacks.
It’s a never ending game of cat and mouse, and no matter how much money is thrown into at it in an attempt to prevent it. It doesn’t seem like it can ever be stopped, as it goes hand in hand with the nature of the internet being a decentralized platform.
